Daniel D. Connor

Dan is a former weapons officer on a Naval destroyer and football player at The Ohio State University under the legendary Woody Hayes.  He's been practicing law in Columbus since 1968. After serving as Assistant Attorney General, Assistant County Prosecutor and Assistant Counsel for the Ohio Manufacturer's Association, Dan opened his private law office on April 2, 1971. He engaged in the general practice of law until 1980, gradually narrowing his focus to representing clients charged with drinking and driving offenses, other criminal offenses and those who have suffered a personal injury, a workers' compensation injury, and those whose professional license is at risk.

Dennis P. Evans

Dennis is among the most respected authorities on DUI / OVI defense in Ohio. He is the only attorney in central Ohio who has graduated from both the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy and the Columbus Police Department Academy where he received training on DUI procedures during 36 weeks of Academy training. Formerly a Columbus police officer and assistant Columbus city attorney, Dennis has been a practicing attorney since November, 1985. Since that time he has represented many clients in both criminal and civil matters as a defense attorney since 1990.

Kenneth S. Hafenstein

Ken is a Partner of the firm, and director of the Workers Compensation practice. He is an OSBA Board Certified specialist in Ohio Workers' Compensation law. Ken is respected among his peers, injured workers, and employers for his knowledge and understanding of workers' compensation issues as well as his careful preparation for cases before the Industrial Commission of Ohio.

 

Katie L. Woessner

Katie received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Miami University of Ohio in 2002 and graduated from Capital University Law School in 2005, graduating Order of the Curia. While in law school she clerked for the Upper Arlington City Attorney and was a judicial extern for the Honorable Jennifer L. Brunner.

Katie joined Connor Behal L.L.P. as an associate attorney in 2005 and has been with Connor, Evans & Hafenstein LLP since its inception. She is a member of the Ohio bar, and is licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. She is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association.
